Annual PhD Award in Polymer Science & Technology

To further stimulate the cooperation between the academic world and the industry, the Belgian Plastics & Rubber Institute (BPRI) offers a

BPRI AWARD 2012

of € 500

for the best PhD work with a potential industrial valorization

on a subject dealing with

Polymer Science and/or Technology

Applications should be sent before January 27th , 2012

to the attention of Prof. Em. Etienne Schacht (address below)

The application should include:

·         Two copies of the PhD thesis.

·         A summary, written in English, of the candidate’s work (max 5 pages) in which he/she describes the potential economic added value of the research. A digital version should also be sent by e-mail to the address given below.

·         A filled in “BPRI award application form” 

Conditions:

·         Candidates must have obtained their PhD in the field of Polymer Science and/or Technology at a Belgian university in the calendar year 2011.

·         The research group of the promoter of the PhD student, must be full member of the BPG.
